Description
Point of View
The painters point of view was to detail the faces of our great founding fathers which include Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert R. Livingstone, Roger Sherman, and John Adams who all fought for the signing of Americas independence.
Audience
The painters intended audience is the American people, as he wanted to show and document the hard work put into passing the Declaration of Independence.
Purpose
The authors purpose for painting the Declaration of independence was to document the very historic event in detail to be looked back at for generations to come.
Complimentary Image
This picture shows what it takes to be an American as it depicts a hardworking patriot, who day by day serves his people under the flag of the United States. What I mean by this is that anybody working for Americas good qualifies as an American as they help their country better itself.
Over time tho the thought of being American has changed as many people believe those who weren't born here arnt American though shown through time those who moved to America have seeked to change it in a better way, making them patriotic.
Historical Situation
During this time, their was a lot of conflict going on. The conflict that arose was between the American Colonist and the British soldiers. The reason as to why the conflict came to be was because the American Colonist felt that they were provoked of their rights, and argued, to which came the idea of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This played throughout the American Revolution which also played its part in its signing.
